Fun with Nicole's Godparents

We all had a good time with Pastor and Robin the other night.




























The next few pictures are of Pastor trying to get Nicole to pet a bug like a kitty cat. It was too funny. Of course, Mom here, has been trying to teach her how to squash a bug with her shoes!









































Oh boy, Nicole has learned something new. She's learned to take OFF her diaper! Yep. The other afternoon I went in her room to see if she was up from her nap. Sure enough, she was up, diaper was off and she had gone POOP!!! Needless to say, Nicole went directly to the bath tub and the sheets and blankets went directly to the washer. Thankfully, she went poop prior to taking off her diaper but still, there was poop everywhere.

Nicole is actually getting FIVE teeth in at once. I thought it was three, then was surprised to see four and now it's five. My poor girl won't have any fingers left by the time her teeth come in.

She has also finally said her name two times! As many of you know, whenever Nicole sees a picture of herself, her reflection in the mirror or basically anything pertaining to herself, she calls herself "good girl". Hearing herself say "Nicole" isn't as cute as calling herself 'good girl' but it's progress in the right direction!

Nicole is also doing extremely well at putting words together. When we're all sitting down at the dinner table, she'll point to me and say "Mama's fork" or "Mama's eating" and then she'll point to Jim and say "Daddy's fork", "Daddy's eating", etc. When I put her into her car seat or into her booster seat, she'll say "buckle up". Yesterday, I about died laughing. I was holding Nicole in the kitchen, her Dad was laying in bed sick and our chatterbox of a cat -Spunky- was meowing like crazy. Do you know what Nicole said?!?!?!?!? "Daddy nigh-night, Shhhhh. Yes, she used the finger over her lips when she did the shhhh to Spunky. It was so darn funny.
