Earthquake...

Oh goodness. For those of you who really know me, anxiety is an issue for me (to say the least) and that I've been doing really well on this trip in that regards. I've even gone in the elevator by myself (29th floor) without flipping out!!!! Well, my lack of major anxiety came to a quick halt this morning after breakfast. Jim and Nicole were over by the desk and I was laying on the bed. The bed started moving! Then Jim asked me if I felt like the room was shaking. YEP... EARTHQUAKE!!! I about lost my breakfast. I hadn't even thought about earthquakes being an issue! Boy, no dull moments around here! Thankfully, the earthquake was a very small one but still, it's an unsettling feeling.

Yup, you sure did. I checked out the U.S. Geological Survey's list of recent earthquakes--it was a magnitude 5.5. Certainly one that you would feel, especially in a highrise.

Love,
Mom

Loved your latest pictures, especially the ones of Nicole in the tub!
This little angel proves that prayers are answered and miracles really do happen.
I look forward to your Blog updates every day. Auntie Syb sees them at Jill's and Simon has put the pictures on a CD for her to watch at home. Nana L and Dad
