I've added a video of Nicole. She has been saying grace at the dinner table for us each night. That is alot to remember for a 23 month old! She says, "Come dear Lord, be our guest, bless this food which Thou has placed before us. Amen."
Onto the good news that we have decided to no longer keep a secret. We have started the adoption process for baby #2. We are using our same agency, CCAI, since they were so wonderful to work with before.
There are some changes with the adoption laws in China which would impact us if we are not able to get our dossier to China prior to May 1, 2007. If we don't make the deadline, then the second adoption may not happen. We are confident, as well as CCAI, that we can get it there in time.
The process has slowed down quite a bit as well. We are looking at an approximate 15-18 month wait AFTER China receives our dossier.
We are asking one favor of you though. The adoption process, as exciting as it is, is quite stressful. There is a LOT of paperwork involved and a whole lot of "hurry up and wait" going on. We are asking that you limit the questions about how we are coming along in the process. We know you are only asking because you care but at times, those questions can add to the stress of it. Please allow us to keep you informed.
