She's walking so well....

Our little girl is walking so well. Jim was at one end of the hallway while I was at the other end. We watched Nicole walk back and forth between the two of us using her Hungry Hippo walker. Then she started getting brave.... She would let go of the walker and walk to either Jim or myself. She took 8 steps on her own! Last night, it was 7 steps. It won't be long now and we won't be able to count how many steps she's taking.

We have one smart little daughter. Tonight, I was feeding Nicole her bottle and holding her in my arms so she could relax and go to sleep for the night. So here we are, in her room, lights off, Beijing Angelic Choir CD playing, a bottle in her mouth and she is starting to doze. In walks Spunky.... Meow. Guess what happens. With a bottle in her mouth, Nicole says kitty-cat. Yep. She heard Spunky meowing and she knew what it was! She didn't even see the cat, she just heard it!

I am one proud mommy!
